Welcome
Swiss Law is based on the one hand on the principles of private enterprise coordinated by market competition coupled with the personal responsibility of the individual, and on the other of the duty of the state and of society to protect vulnerable individuals in the knowledge that “the measure of a people’s strength is in the well-being of the weak” (preamble to the federal constitution). The Center for Social Law is engaged with social law as a legal area in its national and international context.
